Camp Hope provides children of incarcerated parents with a transformational week of summer camp at West River Center. The setting and curriculum offer these children:
-an opportunity to interact with caring counselors who model good choices and offer positive adult relationships;
-relief from environments which often include poverty, crime, substance abuse, anger, violence, child abuse and neglect;
-wholesome fun and relationship-building in a natural, outdoor environment;
-an experience to build and live in a genuine, mutually-beneficial community;
-a chance to genuinely encounter God on their terms.

Refer a Camper
A referring partner is someone who is familiar with the family and child’s situation and may be able to assist with information and have contact with caretakers. This could be a pastor, local church or community leader, school administrator or counselor, or other familiar person. We work with our partners and local churches to help overcome any obstacles to attending.
Become a Partner
Our partners make it possible for us to be transformation agents for these young people. Become a partner by making a generous tax-exempt donation to Onesimus HRD, Inc. by sponsoring opportunities for campers and mentors to continue their relationships in fun and/or educational environments (e.g. theatre and ball park trips), or by providing professional services (e.g. counseling and transportation).
