Camp Joy
Christian Appalachia Ministries Project
Joining Other Youth
July 10-15 & July 17-22, 2011
Youth groups will help refurbish homes for people who are unable to afford to do the work themselves. Participants will sleep in their own tents at Camp Harmison. The group will also enjoy an afternoon of recreation at Cacapon State Park as well as fun worship, games and fellowship at Camp Harmison. For more information or to register your group, please call Hollywood UMC at 301-373-2500.
Reminder for 2011- Please note, pets are not allowed to accompany Camp Joy guests to Harmison or Camp Joy work sites. Due to high temperatures in July, we do not want participants to leave pets in trailers or vehicles at Camp Harmison while you are at your work site - PLEASE LEAVE PETS AT HOME.
After your application is processed you will receive a confirmation packet in mid-May with details of your camping site, your work site, materials needed and much more.
For questions please contact Rev. Sheldon Reese at 301-373-4938 or email revsmr@juno.com
