Manidokan Camp & Retreat Center is open for retreats and rustic camping year-round.
Our facilities all include meeting rooms, snack area with microwave and refrigerator and are supplied with everything necessary to make coffee and tea.
Friendship Hall
Delicious and healthy meals are served family style. Most special dietary needs can be accommodated if arrangements are made in advance. Our Dining Hall serves all our guests during meal time and can be booked for extra meeting space.
Riverview and Serenity Lodges
These two identical air-conditioned lodges have eight bedrooms, each with private bath; two bedrooms are handicapped accessible. Each lodge can accommodate up to 32 persons. A snack area, large meeting space and outside deck offer space and comfort areas.
Covenant House
A cozy two-story retreat lodge. Each bedroom has a bunk bed, dresser and closet. Community baths on both levels. Six bedrooms on the second floor and three bedrooms on the first floor. One of the first floor bedrooms has a private bath and could be used as a leader's room. Large meeting room and snack area are on the first floor as well as large deck overlooking the main camp compound. Covenant House is perfect for groups of 20 or less.
Cabins
Each of these 4 remodeled units is heated, carpeted and sleeps up to 8 people (32 maximum). Available September - May they are ideal for groups or families. The heated and newly remodeled bathhouse is a short walk as well as the meeting house that includes snack area. Rent one or all and enjoy a weekend at Manidokan.
Rustic Camping
There are sites available year-round for rustic/tent camping. Each group must provide their own equipment and provisions. These sites are booked directly through the Manidokan office at 301-834-7244.
Shelter Sites - Two Sites - Each has four platform tents sleeping 6 each. A large covered pavilion area with picnic tables and adjacent leader sleeping area. Bunk bed style with mattresses. Groups bring provisions and prepare their own meals over open fire or can purchase meals in our dining hall.
Tenting - Three Sites - There is no electric; water access is across the main road (a good walk). Each group provides their own equipment and provisions; port-a-pots are at each site, at rental cost.
