Experienced Real Estate agents and  columnists Bob and Donna McWilliams will share their wisdom and try to answer your questions about how to handle one of the most single important assets we have.

World Missions Day: Imagine 15,000 United Methodists from our conference all working together in mission in their communities.  Plans are now underway for a conference-wide event this fall. The Change the World Mission Day will celebrate the spirit of United Methodism, a faith built on social action.  Come learn about this important opportunity and how your congregation will be encouraged to move outside the walls of their local church to serve in their community.  Presented by Mrs. Olivia Gross, Associate for Grow Missions

Churches are Created for Growth

Rev. Andy Lunt, Director of Congregational Development

Keynote Speaker

Currently serving as the Baltimore Washington Conference Director of Congregational Development, Andy is responsible for helping start new faith communities and assisting existing congregations to grow and re-vitalize.

Rev. Karin Walker, Superintendent, Baltimore Suburban District

Bible Study & Worship Leader

Karin Walker has been a pastor in the Baltimore Washington Conference for the past 20 years.  She is a graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County receiving a BA in “Religion and Social Change.”  Her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees are from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.   She served the Texas Charge for four years, was the pastor of Salem Church in Upper Falls for 11 years, St. Paul’s in Kensington for four years prior to becoming a District Superintendent.

Andy has served as senior pastor at Glen Mar UMC in Ellicott City, Md for the last 31 years and retired this year after being in full-time ministry for 43 years. During that time Glen Mar grew from a small country church with about 50 in worship to one of the Baltimore Washington Conference's largest congregations averaging nearly 700 in worship each week. Andy is a member of the adjunct faculty at Wesley Theological Seminary, where he has taught preaching classes for the past 12 years.

Along with missions, a key component of her ministry has been evangelism—helping people develop a relationship with Christ or deepen the one they already have, and to express that through corporate worship, personal growth through Bible study and prayer, loving and supporting one another, and serving compassionately in the world and every day.

Registration is individual or group.  Tickets are $28 per person. Registration deadline Sept. 15th.
