Position: Program Coordinator
Hours: Full-Time exempt position
Manidokan is seeking a Program Coordinator who loves God and working with young people in an outdoor setting. The newest member of our team should be prepared to take leadership in developing experiences for campers and retreat guests to grow in their faith through community, creation, and adventure.
The Program Coordinator leads all aspects of programming at Manidokan including training and supervising the Program Team and nurturing camp partner relationships. This person directly manages the program schedule and logistics, and must have good communication and organizational skills. As a leader, this person should respond proactively to challenges with creative solutions that prioritize safety and the camper/guest experience. Often this person leads large group activities so should have good enthusiasm and welcoming presence. They also play key a role in overall hospitality.
Seeking candidates with 2+ years of experience in program leadership for summer camp and retreat activities or equivalent. Ideal candidates have education/experience in ropes course and/or waterfront activity leadership, schedule development, worship planning, and have a commitment to work in and create an inclusive and diverse cultural ministry setting. For Camper Safety candidates must be at least 21 years of age and must pass national and state background checks, drug screening, as well as follow and implement our safe sanctuary policy. This position is a year-round, full-time, salaried, exempt position with benefits.
