Our Camps
Camp Harmison
Harmison is a beautiful 50-acre natural woodland site in the picturesque mountains of Eastern West Virginia along Sleepy Creek. There is a large recreation field, children’s playground, campfire circle, hiking trails and fishing. Harmison offers day camps during summer, as well as CAMP JOY, a Christ-centered mission of the Hancock United Methodist Church. There are retreat facilities and tent/RV sites for family, scouting, or other group camping.
Manidokan Camp and Retreat Center
Manidokan is a magnificent 426-acre site located in southern Washington Country, MD, overlooking the Potomac River. It is bound on the east by Elk Ridge and on the west by the river and the C&O Canal. The Center lies on the historic Harpers Ferry Road, between Sharpsburg and Sandy Hook. The week-long residential Christian camps at Manidokan have the perfect balance of fun, friends, and faith that your child will never forget.
Manidokan welcomes religious and secular groups to use their 116 year-round beds, 64 seasonal beds, and rustic tenting locations for 500 or more.
West River United Methodist Center
The West River Center has been owned and operated by The United Methodist Church since 1951. Each summer, West River hosts day camps, summer camps, and the popular Community Learn to Swim Program. The facilities at West River are also ideal for corporate meetings and retreats, picnics and family gatherings, and other special events. Accommodations include both comfortable cabins and lodges, as well as large picnic and recreation areas. The pristine waterfront views, hospitality, and food are sure to make your next event a success.
Fun. Friends. Faith.
I was taught how to swim, hike, canoe and most importantly about team work. Camp really opened my eyes to the people around me and how you can create relationships that last forever.
